Hello Josh Army! 

 

We are so excited to connect with you in your home state. The Josh tour is committed to traveling around the US for 2022 & 2023. We intend to host a Josh meet in as many major US cities as possible. We have projected a two-year timeline to accomplish this goal. Please keep in mind that we will be scheduling tour stops as we go, and the entire two-year plan will not be rolled out all at once. We will also be revisiting some states to hit additional cities, so don’t panic if you don’t see a city near you listed on the website yet. The purpose of Josh meets are connectivity, networking, and education. We want to meet you and thank you for your constant support in person.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

COVID:  When it comes to Covid, we are in the same boat as you and we plan to adhere to the local Covid protocol and guidelines in the city/state that we are in. We have no way of predicting when Covid is on the rise or fall, and we will do our best to be cautious yet continue with our project, much like everybody else. We will not require proof of vaccination or face masks/coverings. We will be following the rules of the public venue. If the public venue requires masks, we must all wear masks. Everybody in attendance needs to self-advocate, we cannot advocate on your behalf. We ask that if you are not feeling well, are unsure of your health status, or have recently been exposed to a Covid individual, please stay home for the health and safety of everybody else in attendance, including Josh, Ford, and friends.

 

Personal Pets: Many of our meet venues are dog-friendly. This means that we cannot control if other patrons at the venue bring a pet with them during our meet, but we are asking the Josh community members to kindly leave their personal pets at home. Thank you for understanding.

 

Our Pack: We understand that folks who follow us on social media love our entire pack, and we appreciate that! However, not all of our dogs are mentally/behaviorally/emotionally prepared for a public meet. We have dogs in our pack who are fearful, flight risks, and reactive. For the safety of our pets and the public, we will have to discern which environments are conducive to bringing certain pack members. We are committed to having Josh and Ford at every meet and hope to work with other pack members when applicable. This is one of the reasons why we ask that the Josh community leave their pets at home. The more dogs at a meet, the more likely that only Josh will be in attendance. 

 

Event Fees: All Be Like Josh tour events are 100% free, as always.

 

Pictures: You are free to take photos/videos, and you retain the rights to those photos. You may use them at your discretion and post them publicly. In the past, people have waited in a photo line to take their picture with Josh, but we will have a different meet format for the tour. We will not have a photo line. Both Ford and Josh will be mingling freely in their wheelchairs, and we encourage people to greet them and get down on their level for photos.

Disabilities: All of our events are all abilities inclusive. We are working hard to book venues that can accommodate the full spectrum of physical abilities. If you have a physical disability that prevents you from getting your photo taken with Josh or Ford while in their wheelchair, we are happy to accommodate you and help create a positive photo experience. Simply bring this to our attention, and we are happy to help you out.

 

Merchandise: We will be selling merchandise at events. We can take cash or credit cards. All proceeds will go directly to the Be Like Josh Foundation.

 

Individuals Under 18: Ideally, every Josh event will be family-friendly. If we book a venue that is not family-friendly, it will be listed on our website tour schedule. If you’re bringing children with you, please keep in mind that there will be live animals at the event. Animals are unpredictable, and you must supervise your children at all times.
